and saith unto him - Mind! unto no one, say aught, - but withdraw, thyself, show unto the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what things Moses enjoined, for a witness unto them.

And Jesus said, "Whoever has ears to hear with ought to listen [to this] carefully."

If anyone has ears to hear with, he ought to listen to this carefully."

And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

But Jesus said, "Do not tell him not to do so, for there is no one who will use my name to do a mighty act, and be able soon after to abuse me.

Jesus called his disciples and told them, "You know that those who are recognized as rulers among the unbelievers lord it over them, and their superiors act like tyrants over them.

and, seeing a fig-tree from afar, having leaves, he came -- if, therefore, he should find aught in it, and, coming up to it, nothing, found he, save, leaves; for it was not, the season, of figs.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

and asked him, "What authority have you for acting in this way? Who gave you authority to act in this way?"

"I will put one question to you," said Jesus. "Answer me that, and then I will tell you what authority I have to act as I do.

they therefore gave Jesus this answer, we cannot tell. neither do I, said Jesus, acquaint you by what authority I act thus.

Ought we to give, or ought we not to give?" He understood their dissimulation, and said unto them, "Why tempt ye me? Bring me a penny, that I may see it."

When they are taking you off to trial do not worry beforehand about what you ought to say, but say whatever is given you when the time comes, for it is not you that will speak, but the holy Spirit.

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

But Jesus said, "Leave her alone: why are you troubling her? She has done a most gracious act towards me.

He came back a third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough [of that]! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Then Pilate said unto them, But what criminal act hath he done? And they cried the more vociferously, Crucify him.
