Consider me and answer, Lord my God.
Restore brightness to my eyes;

He who does these things will never be shaken.

Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. Yes, my body will dwell in safety,

Justice for me will come from your presence; your eyes see what is right.

You have tried my heart; you have examined [me] by night; you have tested me; you found nothing. I have decided [that] my mouth will not transgress.

[I have] held my steps in your path My feet will not slip.

Display the wonders of Your faithful love,
Savior of all who seek refuge
from those who rebel against Your right hand.

From the face of the unjust that laid me waste, enemies against the soul will go round about against me.

We went straight, now they surrounded us: their eyes they will set to incline to the earth;

His likeness as a lion will long for the prey, and as a young lion dwelling in secret places.

They will anticipate me in the day of my calamity, and Jehovah will be a support to me.

And he will bring me forth to a wide place: he will deliver me, for he delighted in me.

The LORD will reward me because I am righteous; because my hands are clean he will restore me;

And I blameless with him, and I will watch myself from mine iniquity.

And Jehovah will turn back to me according to my justice, and according to the cleanness of my hands before his eyes.


With the kind (merciful, faithful, loyal) You show Yourself kind,
With the blameless You show Yourself blameless,

I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; Neither will I turn again till they are consumed.

I will smite them through, so that they shall not be able to rise: They shall fall under my feet.

You have made my enemies turn their back to me, and I will destroy those who hate me.

They will cry and none saving: to Jehovah, and he answered them not

God giving vengeance to me, and he will speak the peoples under me.

who delivers me from my enemies. Truly you will exalt me above those who oppose me; you will deliver me from the violent person.

Day to day will gush out the saying, and night to night will breathe out knowledge.

And he as a bridegroom coming forth from his nuptial couch, will rejoice as a strong one to run a way.

Moreover, keep Your servant from willful sins;
do not let them rule over me.
Then I will be innocent
and cleansed from blatant rebellion.

He will send thy help from the holy place and from Zion he will support thee.

They will collapse and fall, and we will rise and stand firm.

The Lord will deliver the king; he will answer us when we call to him for help!

Indeed, you have given him eternal blessings; you will make him glad with the joy of your presence.


For the king [confidently] trusts in the Lord,
And through the lovingkindness (faithfulness, goodness) of the Most High he will never be shaken.

Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.


Their offspring You will destroy from the earth,
And their descendants from the sons of men.


For You will make them turn their backs [in defeat];
You will aim Your bowstring [of divine justice] at their faces.

My God, I will call in the day, and thou wilt not answer; and in the night no silence to me.

They say, "Commit yourself to the LORD; perhaps the LORD will deliver him, perhaps he will cause him to escape, since he delights in him."
