Or else doth not nature teach you, that it is a shame for a man, if he have long hair: and a praise to a woman if she have long hair? For her hair is given her to cover her withal. If there be any man among you that lusteth to strife, let him know that we have no such customs, neither the congregations of God.

I will, therefore, that the men pray every where, lifting up pure hands without wrath, or doubting. Likewise also the women, that they array themselves in comely apparel with shamefastness, and discreet behavior, not with broided hair, other gold, or pearls, or costly array: but with such as becometh women that profess the worshipping of God through good works. read more.
