And he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness; and knoweth not whither he goeth, for darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to make a satisfaction for our sins. Dearly beloved, if God so loved us, then we ought also to love one another.
