So Darius the Mede received the kingdom at about the age of sixty-two. It seemed good to Darius to appoint 120 satraps over the kingdom, that they would be in charge of the whole kingdom,

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.

"He was also driven away from mankind, and his heart was made like that of beasts, and his dwelling place was with the wild donkeys He was given grass to eat like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until he recognized that the Most High God is ruler over the realm of mankind and that He sets over it whomever He wishes. This they will have in return for their pride, because they have taunted and become arrogant against the people of the LORD of hosts.
