And the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them to him, and he kissed them and embraced them.

And it chanced at that time, that Eli lay in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim that he could not see.

Eli was four score and eighteen years old, and his sight failed him that he could not see.

And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Asher: which was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity.
