And he made darkness pavilions round about him, Gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies.


And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; And thick darkness was under his feet.

Then spake Solomon, Jehovah hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.


And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

For ye are not come unto a mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,


and Moses alone shall come near unto Jehovah; but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

And it came to pass, when Moses entered into the Tent, the pillar of cloud descended, and stood at the door of the Tent: and Jehovah'spake with Moses.

And Moses went up unto God, and Jehovah called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:

And Jehovah came down upon mount Sinai, to the top of the mount: and Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

And Jehovah called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying,


and Moses alone shall come near unto Jehovah; but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

For ye are not come unto a mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that no word more should be spoken unto them;
