and ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings.

In the third month from when the sons of Israel had gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

and be ready for the third day; for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.


Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two-tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven, they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

And thou shalt do the solemn feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God; out of the voluntary abundance of thy hand thou shalt give, according as the LORD thy God has blessed thee.


And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of the reaping of the wheat, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, not to detain himself in Asia, for he hasted to keep the day of Pentecost, if it were possible for him, in Jerusalem.

But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.


Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye offer a new present unto the LORD in your fulfilled weeks, ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

And ye shall be summoned on that same day; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; ye shall do no servile work: a perpetual statute in all your dwellings throughout your ages.


And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou and thy son and thy daughter and thy manslave and thy maidslave and the Levite that is within thy gates and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God has chosen to place his name there. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt; therefore thou shalt keep and do these statutes.


And ye shall count unto you from the day after the sabbath, from the day that ye offered the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete; unto the day after the seventh sabbath, ye shall number fifty days; then ye shall offer a new present unto the LORD.


And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year and one young bullock and two rams; they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their presents and their drink offerings in an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD. Then ye shall also sacrifice one he goat as the sin and two lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of peace.


And ye shall be summoned on that same day; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; ye shall do no servile work: a perpetual statute in all your dwellings throughout your ages.


And the feast of the harvest of the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field, and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
