But while He yet talked with the people, behold, His mother and His brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with Him.

After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And they did not stay there many days.

Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.


Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?

But I saw no other of the apostles, except James the Lord's brother.


Then through fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation. And I put before them the gospel which I proclaim in the nations, but privately to those seeming to be pillars, lest I run, or I ran, into vanity. For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, "I have set You to be a light of the nations, for salvation to the end of the earth." And hearing, the nations rejoiced and glorified the Word of the Lord. And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

And it happened to me, I returning to Jerusalem and praying in the temple, I became in an ecstasy. And I saw Him say to me, Hurry and go quickly out of Jerusalem, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me. And when the blood of Your martyr Stephen was poured out, I also was standing by and consenting to his death, and holding the garments of those who killed him. And He said to me, Go, for I will send you far away to the nations.


Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a basket. And arriving in Jerusalem, Saul attempted to join himself to the disciples. But they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple.
