Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas,
But while He yet talked with the people, behold, His mother and His brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with Him.
Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him.
After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And they did not stay there many days.
Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.
For His brothers did not believe in Him.
Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?
But I saw no other of the apostles, except James the Lord's brother.

Then through fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation. And what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie. Then I went into the regions of Syria and of Cilicia, and was unknown by face to the churches of Judea in Christ. But only they were hearing that he who then persecuted us, now preaches the faith which he once ravaged. And they glorified God in me.

For before some came from James, he ate with the nations. But when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those of the circumcision.
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the rest with them, who told these things to the apostles.
