and I was [actually] let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and slipped through his fingers.
Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was built into the city wall, so that she was living on the wall.
But [the knowledge of] their plot was made known to Saul. They were guarding the [city's] gates day and night to kill him, But his disciples took him at night and let him down through the [city's] wall, lowering him in a basket or hamper.
