O God, restore us; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Jehovah, God of hosts, how long will thine anger smoke against the prayer of thy people? Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure: read more.
Thou hast made us a strife unto our neighbours, and our enemies mock among themselves. Restore us, O God of hosts; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

O God of hosts, return, we beseech thee; look down from the heavens, and behold, and visit this vine; Even the stock which thy right hand hath planted, and the young plant thou madest strong for thyself. It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. read more.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou hast made strong for thyself. So will we not go back from thee. Revive us, and we will call upon thy name. Restore us, O Jehovah, God of hosts; cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

In that day shall man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have regard to the Holy One of Israel.

And they that are of erring spirit shall know understanding, and the disobedient shall learn doctrine.

Turn unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, ye children of Israel; for in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your sinful hands have made unto you.

In those days, and at that time, saith Jehovah, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping as they go, and shall seek Jehovah their God. They shall inquire concerning Zion, with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to Jehovah, in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten. My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they turned them away on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place.

Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their God, and David their king; and shall turn with fear toward Jehovah and toward his goodness, at the end of the days.

Come and let us return unto Jehovah: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before his face; and we shall know, we shall follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is assured as the morning dawn; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain which watereth the earth.

In that day shall man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have regard to the Holy One of Israel. And he will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, nor have regard to what his fingers have made, neither the Asherahs nor the sun-images.

By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit of the taking away of his sin: when he shall make all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are crumbled in pieces, the Asherahs and the sun-images shall not stand.

And behold, there cometh a chariot of men; horsemen by pairs. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth what he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon is fallen.

In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made each for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

The burden of Egypt. Behold, Jehovah rideth upon a swift cloud, and cometh to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt are moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt melteth in the midst of it.

Their heart is divided; now shall they be found guilty: he will break down their altars, he will destroy their statues.

They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

And I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Jehovah.

And the Egyptians buried those whom Jehovah had smitten among them, all the firstborn; and upon their gods Jehovah executed judgments.

Jehovah will be terrible unto them; for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and all the isles of the nations shall worship him, every one from his place.

In that day shall man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have regard to the Holy One of Israel. And he will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, nor have regard to what his fingers have made, neither the Asherahs nor the sun-images.

for in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your sinful hands have made unto you.

and the idols shall utterly pass away.

Thus shall ye say unto them: The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.

Therefore behold, days are coming when I will punish the graven images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be put to shame, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

Therefore behold, days come, saith Jehovah, that I will punish her graven images; and throughout her land the wounded shall groan.

And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, they nor their kings, with their fornication, and with the carcases of their kings in their high places, in that they set their threshold by my threshold, and their post by my post, and there was only a wall between me and them, and they defiled my holy name with their abominations which they committed; and I consumed them in mine anger. Now let them put away their fornication, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy statues out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more bow down to the work of thy hands.
