And I give them eternal life, and they will, no, not perish into the age, and not any will snatch them out of my hand.
Hear the word of LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

But the father said to his bondmen, Bring forth the best robe and clothe him, and give a ring for his hand, and shoes for his feet. And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Shepherd » One who cares for flocks of sheep
Hear the word of LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
Thus says LORD: As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the sons of Israel be rescued who sit in Samaria in the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.
And there were shepherds in the same region living in the fields, and keeping watch by night over their flock.
These twenty years I have been with thee, thy ewes and thy she-goats have not cast their young, and I have not eaten the rams of thy flocks. I did not bring to thee that which was torn by beasts; I bore the loss of it, of my hand thou required it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night, and my sleep fled from my eyes.

But the hireling flees because he is a hireling, and it is no care to him about the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and I know mine, and I am known by mine, just as the Father knows me, I also know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring those also, and they will hear my voice. And there will become one flock, one shepherd. Because of this the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, so that I may take it again. No man takes it from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father.

All, as many as came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door.
