When he was gone out, Jesus said, "Now is the son of man glorified. And God is glorified by him. If God be glorified by him, God shall also glorify him in himself: and shall straightway glorify him.

And Jesus answered them saying, "The hour is come that the son of man must be glorified. Verily, verily I say unto you, except the wheat corn fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. If it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall destroy it: And he that hateth his life in this world, shall keep it unto life eternal. read more.
If any man minister unto me, let him follow me: and where I am, there shall also my minister be. And if any man minister unto me, him will my father honour. "Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say, 'Father deliver me from this hour?' But therefore came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name." Then came there a voice from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again."

These words spake Jesus and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "Father, the hour is come glorify thy son that thy son may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. This is life eternal: that they might know thee, that only very God, and whom thou hast sent, Jesus Christ. read more.
I have glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now glorify me, thou father, with thine own self, with the glory which I had with thee yer the world was.

Father, glorify thy name." Then came there a voice from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." Then said the people that stood by and heard, "It thundereth." Others said, "An angel spake to him."

Even then, verily, when he received of God the father honour and glory, and when there came such a voice to him from that excellent glory. "This is my dear beloved son, in whom I have delight" -

Yea the shine and glister that lightened round about, was like a rainbow, which in a rainy day appeareth in the clouds. Even so was the similitude, wherein the glory of the LORD appeared. When I saw it, I fell upon my face, and hearkened unto the voice of him that spake.

Yea and the sound of the Cherubims' wings was heard into the fore court, like as it had been the voice of the almighty God when he speaketh.

And when they went forth I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as it had been the voice of the great God, and a rushing together as it were of a host of men. And when they stood still, they let down their wings.

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"

And the father himself, which hath sent me, beareth witness of me. Ye have not heard his voice at any time; Nor yet have seen his shape.

Father, glorify thy name." Then came there a voice from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." Then said the people that stood by and heard, "It thundereth." Others said, "An angel spake to him." Jesus answered and said, "This voice came not because of me: but for your sakes.

When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight. And as he drew near to behold, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

The men which journeyed with him on his way stood amazed, for they heard a voice, but saw no man.

When we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, 'Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the prick.' And I said, 'Who art thou Lord?' And he said, 'I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

Father, glorify thy name." Then came there a voice from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." Then said the people that stood by and heard, "It thundereth." Others said, "An angel spake to him."

For we followed not deceitful fables when we opened unto you the power, and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but with our eyes we saw his majesty: Even then, verily, when he received of God the father honour and glory, and when there came such a voice to him from that excellent glory. "This is my dear beloved son, in whom I have delight" - This voice we heard when it came from heaven, being with him in the holy mount.

Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus, "Master here is good being for us. If thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud shadowed them. And behold, there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my dear son, in whom I delight; hear him."

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Master, here is good being for us, let us make three tabernacles: one for thee, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." And wist not what he said, for they were afraid. And there was a cloud that shadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud saying, "This is my dear son, hear him."

And it chanced, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, "Master, it is good being here for us. Let us make three tabernacles: one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." And wist not what he said. While he thus spake there came a cloud and shadowed them and they feared when they were come under the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud saying, "This is my dear son, hear him."

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you with miracles and wonders, and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves know:

because that all men should honour the son, even as they honour the father. He that honoureth not the son, the same honoureth not the father which hath sent him. Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth my words, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life: and shall not come into damnation, but is escaped from death unto life. Verily, verily I say unto you, the time shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God. And they that hear, shall live. read more.
For as the father hath life in himself, so likewise hath he given to the son to have life in himself. And hath given him power also to judge in that he is the son of man. Marvel not at this: that the hour shall come, in which all that are in the graves, shall hear his voice, and shall come forth: They that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; And they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing at all. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will: But the will of the father which hath sent me. "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me. And I am sure that the witness which he beareth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth: but I receive not the record of man. Nevertheless, these things I say, that ye might be safe. He was a burning, and a shining light; and ye would for a season have rejoiced in his light. But I have greater witness than the witness of John. For the works which the father hath given me to finish: the same works that I do: bear witness of me, that the father sent me. And the father himself, which hath sent me, beareth witness of me. Ye have not heard his voice at any time; Nor yet have seen his shape. Thereto, his words have ye not abiding in you: For whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

The Pharisees said unto him, "Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true." Jesus answered and said unto them, "Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came and whither I go. But ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh. I judge no man. read more.
And though I judge, yet is my judgment true. For I am not alone: but I and the father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the father that sent me beareth witness of me."

Jesus answered them, "I told you and ye believe not: The works that I do in my father's name, they bear witness of me: but ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep. As I said unto you, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. read more.
And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My father which gave them me, is greater than all men; and no man is able to take them out of my father's hand. And I and my father are one." Then the Jews again took up stones, to stone him withal. Jesus answered them, "Many good works have I showed you from my father: for which of them will ye stone me?" The Jews answered him saying, "For thy good works' sake we stone thee not: but for thy blasphemy, and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I have say ye are gods?' If he called them gods unto whom the word of God was spoken - and the scripture cannot be broken - say ye then to him, whom the father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, 'Thou blasphemest, because I said I am the son of God?' If I do not the works of my father, believe me not. But if I do: though ye believe not me, yet believe the works, that ye may know and believe that the father is in me, and I in him."

And Jesus answered them saying, "The hour is come that the son of man must be glorified. Verily, verily I say unto you, except the wheat corn fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. Who is it that overcometh the world: but he which believeth that Jesus is the son of God? This Jesus Christ is he that came by water and blood, not by water only: but by water and blood. And it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth. read more.
For there are three that bear record: the spirit, and water, and blood: and these three are one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God, that God hath born of his son.

This first understand: that there shall come in the last days mockers, which will walk after their own lusts and say, "Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers died all things continue in the same estate wherein they were at the beginning." This they know not - and that willingly: how that the heavens a great while ago were, and the earth that was in the water appeared up out of the water by the word of God: read more.
by the which things the world that then was perished, overflowen with the water. But the heavens verily and earth which are now, are kept by the same word in store, and reserved unto fire, against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

for he cometh to judge the earth: yea with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with his truth. {TYNDALE: For he cometh to judge the earth. Thank the LORD for he is good, and his mercy lasteth ever.}

And the time of this ignorance God regarded not: but now he biddeth all men everywhere to repent, because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world according to righteousness, by that man, whom he hath appointed, and hath offered faith to all men, after that he had raised him from death."
