And they set them up the carved image which Micah made, all the while that the house of God was in Shiloh.

And the borders of the children of Reuben was Jordan, with the country that lieth thereon. This is the inheritance of the children of Reuben in their kindreds, with the cities and villages pertaining thereto. And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad he gave by kindreds. And their coasts were Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that lieth before Rabbah; And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the borders of Debir. And in the valley they had Betharam, Bethnimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, and Jordan and the coasts that lie thereon, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth, on the other side Jordan eastward. This is the inheritance of the children of Gad in their kindreds, the cities with their villages. And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Manasseh. And the half tribe of Manasseh had their part by their kindreds. And their coasts were from Mahanaim, even all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair which lie in Bashan, even three score cities, and half Gilead and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which pertain unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, and that unto half the children of Machir by their kindreds. These are they to which Moses gave inheritance in the fields of Moab, on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward. But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave none inheritance, "For the LORD God of Israel he is their inheritance," as he said unto them.
