Thematic Bible
Botany » Laws of nature in the vegetable kingdom uniform in action
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked! A man will harvest what he sows.
By their fruits you will know them. Do men get grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? Every good tree gives righteous fruit. The bad tree gives evil fruit. A good tree does not give bad fruit. A bad tree does not give good fruit.
A good tree does not produce corrupt fruit and a corrupt tree does not produce good fruit. The identity of a tree is made clear by the fruit it produces. Men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble.
You fool, that which you sow is not alive unless it first dies. That which you sow, you sow not that body that will develop, but bare grain, it may be of wheat, or of some other grain: But God gives it a body as it pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
