Abhorrence » of the Lord
"'See that ye keep therefore all mine ordinances and all my judgments, and that ye do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spew you not out. And see that ye walk not in the manners of the nations which I cast out before you: For they committed all these things, and I abhorred them. But I have said unto you that ye shall enjoy their land, and that I will give it unto you to possess it: even a land that floweth with milk and honey. I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other nations:
They offered unto field-devils and not to God; and to gods which they knew not; and to new gods that came newly up, which their fathers feared not. Of the rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgot God that made thee. And when the LORD saw it, he was angry because of the provoking of his sons and daughters.
Thou shalt destroy the liars; the LORD will abhor both the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Make not your souls therefore abominable with beasts and fowls, and with all manner thing that creepeth upon the ground, which I have separated unto you to hold them unclean. Be holy unto me, for I the LORD am holy and have severed you from other nations: that ye should be mine.

Make not your souls therefore abominable with beasts and fowls, and with all manner thing that creepeth upon the ground, which I have separated unto you to hold them unclean. And let thine eyes be open unto the prayer of thy servant and unto the prayer of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them, in all that they call unto thee for. For thou didst separate them to be thine inheritance, above all the nations of the earth, as thou saidest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord Jehovah."
