Do not eat the bread of anyone who has an evil eye, neither desire his dainty foods; for as he thinks in his soul, so is he; Eat and drink, he shall say unto thee, but his heart is not with thee. Didst thou eat thy part? Thou shalt vomit it up and lose thy sweet words.

Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house lest he be weary of thee and so hate thee.

And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

Then the husband of the house, being angry, said to his slave, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the halt and the blind. And the slave said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the slave, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that my house may be filled.
