Jesus answered and said to them, Ye err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, read more.

If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is sitting on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on things on the earth. For ye died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God;

And when he had said this, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the multitude was divided. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees affirm both.
