Joseph came, who was from Arimathea, an honorable counsellor, who also himself expected the kingdom of God, and went in boldly to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
And behold, a man by the name of Joseph, a counsellor, a good and righteous man, this man had not consented to their design and doing, [he was] from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, and he expected the kingdom of God.
