After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Greet my well beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

I beseech you, brethren, (you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:


Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them who were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.


And when we had sailed over the sea near Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.


And we sailed from there, and came the next day opposite Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.


And when he met with us at Assos, we took him aboard, and came to Mitylene. And we sailed from there, and came the next day opposite Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.


After they were come to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit permitted them not. And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.


Therefore setting sail from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;


And when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.


And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and greeted the brethren, and abode with them one day.


So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, departed unto Seleucia; and from there they sailed to Cyprus.


And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.


Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews:

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again unto my necessity.


The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring with you, and the books, but especially the parchments.

Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

These going before tarried for us at Troas. And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them at Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

Therefore setting sail from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.


Now when we had sighted Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unload her cargo. And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem. And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed. read more.
And when we had taken our leave one of another, we boarded ship; and they returned home again. And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and greeted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
