Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Be exalted above the heavens, O God;
Let Your glory and majesty be over all the earth.

On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.

Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people,
And praise Him at the seat of the elders.

O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is. So will I bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and tender mercy;
At Your holy temple I will bow [obediently] in reverence for You.
