Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel among those who called on His name; they called on Jehovah, and He answered them.

Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and rich in mercy. He will not always chasten, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. read more.

You have not brought Me the lamb of your burnt offerings; nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with an offering, nor wearied you with incense. You have bought Me no sweet cane with silver, nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened Me with your sins; you have wearied Me with your iniquities. I, I am He who blots out your sins for My own sake, and will not remember your sins. Cause Me to remember; let us enter into judgment; declare yourself, that you may be justified.
