Afflictions » Moments of Discouragement » True believers do not faint under
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh to you as to children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked by him:
Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is wasted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.
Decision » Instances of » Ephesians
I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and that thou canst not bear them who are evil; and thou hast tried them who say they are apostles, and are not; and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.
Ephesus » Apocalyptic message to
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and that thou canst not bear them who are evil; and thou hast tried them who say they are apostles, and are not; and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted. read more.
Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Repentance » The reward for not repenting
There were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering, said to them, Suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, No; but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. read more.
