Truth » The evil people » Punished for want of
and everyone who lives in it languishes,
along with the wild animals
even the fish of the sea disappear.
for the Lord has a case
against the inhabitants of the land:
There is no truth,
and no knowledge of God
no one tells the truth.
They have taught their tongues to speak lies;
they wear themselves out doing wrong.
This is the Lord’s declaration.
Should I not avenge Myself
on such a nation as this?

Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter. Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil is plundered. The Lord saw that there was no justice, and He was offended.
Truth » The evil people » Plead not for
no one pleads honestly.
They trust in empty and worthless words;
they conceive trouble and give birth to iniquity.
Truth » The evil people » Are not valiant for
lies and not faithfulness prevail in the land,
for they proceed from one evil to another,
and they do not take Me into account.
This is the Lord’s declaration.
Truth » The evil people » Speak not
no one tells the truth.
