"Does not {a human being have hard service} on earth? And [are not] his days like the days of a laborer? Like a slave he longs for [the] shadow, and like a laborer he waits for his wages. So {I had to inherit} months of worthlessness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me.
So why did you bring me forth from the womb? I should have passed away, {and no eye should have seen me}. I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been brought from [the] womb to the grave. [Are] not my days few? Let him leave [me] alone; let him turn from me, and let me rejoice a little.
