But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name:

As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.

Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receives me: and whosoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises him that sent me.

Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me.

For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me.

And if you will receive it, this is Elijah, who was to come.

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, only they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, who were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, who were made eunuchs of men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

He that has received his testimony has set his seal to this that God is true. For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, We speak what we do know, and testify what we have seen; and you receive not our witness.

I am come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from God only?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
