Come and see the place where he was lying. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee, and you will see him there. Remember, I have told you!"

As they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were utterly astonished. But he told them, "Stop being astonished! You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. Look at the place where they laid him. But go and tell his disciples especially Peter that Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you."

While they were puzzling over this, two men in dazzling robes suddenly stood beside them. While the women remained terrified, bowing their faces to the ground, the men asked them, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is living? He is not here, but has been raised.
