And he said unto them, I beheld Satan falling as lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shalt in any wise hurt you.
For I am assured that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor those to come, nor exaltation, nor deepest depression, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Finally, brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Be clothed in the panoply of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Therefore take the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all things to stand.
Be in subjection then to God. Resist the devil, and he will fly from you.
