For our conflict is not merely against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and against powers, and against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against wicked spirits in the aerial regions.

For though we walk in the flesh, we war not after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the casting down the strong holds [of corruption];

The night is far advanced, the day approaches: let us therefore put off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
