12 Bible Verses about Apostles, Given Miraculous Power

And summoning his twelve disciples, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could expel [them] and could heal every disease and every sickness.

And he summoned the twelve and began to send them out two [by] two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits.

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues,

And summoning the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all the demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

and heal the sick in it, and say to them, "The kingdom of God has come near to you."

And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit gave them [ability] to speak out.

And fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were being performed by the apostles.

Now many signs and wonders were being performed among the people through the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico. And none of the rest dared to join them, but the people spoke highly of them. And even more believers in the Lord were being added, large numbers of both men and women,read more.
so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and put [them] on cots and mats so that [when] Peter came by, at least [his] shadow would fall on some of them. And the people of the towns around Jerusalem also came together, bringing the sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, who were all being healed.

I give thanks to God [that] I speak with tongues more than all of you,

Indeed, the signs of an apostle have been done among you with all patient endurance, both signs and wonders and deeds of power.
