And all the people having answered, said, His blood upon us, and upon our children. Then he loosed to them Barabbas: and having scourged Jesus, delivered him up, that, he might be crucified.

And they were urgent with great voices, asking for him to be crucified. And their voices and the chief priests' overcame. And Pilate sanctioned their asking to be done. And he loosed to them him cast into prison for sedition, and slaughter, which they demanded; and delivered Jesus to their will.
