But if any widow have children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety to their own family, and to requite their parents; for this is acceptable before God.
And they brought children to him, that he might touch them; and the disciples rebuked those that brought them. But Jesus seeing it was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the children to come to me; forbid them not; for to such belongeth the kingdom of God. Truly do I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a child, will not enter therein.read more.

And, ye fathers, stir not up the anger of your children, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that their angels in heaven continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Fathers, provoke not your children, lest they be discouraged.
But if any one provideth not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
