And the Word became Man, and dwelt among us, (We saw his glory--the glory of the Only Son sent from the Father), full of love and truth.
But I have spoken to you of these things that, when the time for them comes, you may remember that I told you about them myself.
Whilst I was with them, I kept them by that revelation, and I have guarded them; and not one of them has been lost, except that lost soul--in fulfillment of Scripture.
Therefore, from among the men who have been with us all the time that Jesus, our Master, went in and out among us--

As Jesus was getting into the boat, the possessed man begged him to let him stay with him.

Presently a maidservant saw him sitting near the blaze of the fire. Fixing her eyes on him, she said: "Why, this man was one of his companions!"
When he had gone out into the gateway, another maid saw him, and said to those who were there: "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth!"
One of the High Priest's servants, a relation of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, exclaimed: "Did not I myself see you with him in the garden?"
About an hour later another man declared positively: "This man also was certainly with him. Why, he is a Galilean!"
When the Council saw how boldly Peter and John spoke, and found that they were uneducated men of humble station, they were surprised, and realized that they had been companions of Jesus.
When I was with you day after day in the Temple Courts, you did not lay hands on me; but now your time has come, and the power of Darkness."
"Come, and you shall see," he replied. So they went, and saw where he was staying, and spent that day with him. It was then about four in the afternoon.
