He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off from the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
From that time forth Jesus began to show to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

And they will mock him, and will scourge him, and will spit upon him, and will kill him: and the third day he will rise again.

Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests, and the scribes, sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him: for they feared the people.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.

But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard from God: this did not Abraham.
Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
The people answered and said, Thou hast a demon: who goeth about to kill thee?
Then they took up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
His disciples say to him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying to him, Go out, and depart hence; for Herod will kill thee.
But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
Pilate saith to them, What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all say to him, Let him be crucified.
And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
And they cried out again, Crucify him. Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
When therefore the chief priests and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith to them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cesar.
And they were urgent with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified: and the voices of them, and of the chief priests prevailed.
Then saith Jesus to them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
And Jesus saith to them, All ye will be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
