And he began at Moses, and at all the prophets, and interpreted unto them, in all scriptures which were written of him.

He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'"

But I say unto you, that here is one greater than the temple. Wherefore if ye had wist, what this saying meaneth, 'I require mercy and not sacrifice,' ye would never have condemned innocents.

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are married: but are as the angels of God in heaven. As touching the resurrection of the dead: have ye not read what is said unto you of God, which sayeth,read more.
'I am Abraham's God, and Isaac's God, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead: but of the living."

For when they shall rise again from death, they neither marry, nor are married: but are as the angels which are in heaven. As touching the dead, that they shall rise again: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?'read more.

Jesus answered and said unto them, "The children of this world marry wives, and are married, but they which shall be made worthy to enjoy that world, and the resurrection from death, neither marry wives, neither are married, nor yet can die any more.
