Thus hath the LORD said, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thy own house, and I will take thy wives before thy eyes and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou hast done it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for moving and move by day in their sight and thou shalt move from thy place to another place in their sight: they will not see for they are a rebellious house. And thou shalt bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for moving; and thou shalt go forth in the evening in their sight, as those that go forth to not return.

The night is past, and the day is come; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us clothe ourselves with the weapons of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

For in another time ye were darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk as children of light;

Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For those that sleep in the night, and those that are drunken are drunken in the night.read more.
