10 Bible Verses about Death Averted

Now it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die until he had seen the Lord's Christ [i.e., God's, specially chosen one].

In the same way, it is not the will of your Father in heaven that [a single] one of these little ones [i.e., humble followers of Christ] should be lost.

But, now I want to encourage you to cheer up, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only the ship [will be lost].
