Let the glory of Jehovah endure for ever; Let Jehovah rejoice in his works:

And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Then I was by him, as a master workman; And I was daily his delight, Rejoicing always before him, Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man. Jehovah taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his lovingkindness.

For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah; But a just weight is his delight.

They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah; But such as are perfect in their way are his delight.

but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he hath understanding, and knoweth me, that I am Jehovah who exerciseth lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith Jehovah.

Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

And Samuel said, Hath Jehovah as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

For thou delightest not in sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
