Thou who boastest in the law, by transgression of the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God by you is blasphemed in the nations, as it has been written.
The wind shall feed all thy shepherds, and they loving thee shall go into captivity: for then shalt thou be ashamed and disgraced for all thine evil.
We were ashamed for we heard reproach: shame covered our faces, for strangers came to the holy places of the house of Jehovah.
Remember, O Jehovah, what was to us: look and see our reproach. Our inheritance was turned to strangers, our houses to foreigners.
