But Jesus, who well knew their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself becomes desolate; and no city, or family, divided against itself can stand:

that there might be no schism in the body; but that all the members might have the same care one for another.

But whilst I am declaring this, I do not commend you, that ye assemble together not for the better, but for the worse. For first when ye come together in the church, I hear there are divisions among you, and I partly believe it.

I wonder that ye are so soon removed from him who called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that disturb you, and would subvert the gospel of Christ. But tho' we or an angel from heaven should preach to you any other gospel than what we have preached to you; let him be accursed.read more.
