This is how you are to look upon us, as servants of Christ and stewards of God's secret truths. Now in this matter of stewards your first requirement is that they must be trustworthy.

Attend to your Scripture-reading, your preaching, and your teaching, till I come. You have a gift that came to you transmitted by the prophets, when the presbytery laid their hands upon you; do not neglect that gift.
