Amalek came and attacked Israel in Rephidim. So Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some of our men and go out, fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand." So Joshua fought against Amalek just as Moses had instructed him;and Moses and Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

Then the Philistine said, "I defy Israel's troops this day! Give me a man so we can fight each other!"

David said to Saul, "Don't let anyone be discouraged. Your servant will go and fight this Philistine!"

So I do not run uncertainly or box like one who hits only air.
