For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could make alive, verily righteousness would have been of the law. But the scriptures shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
