And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is empty, and your faith is also empty.

But in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us. But where are thy gods that thou have made thee? Let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble. Take heed lest there will be any man taking you captive through the love of wisdom and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ.
