LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise him. LORD is their strength, and he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

After these things the word of LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram. I am thy shield, thy exceedingly great reward.

Happy are thou, O Israel. Who is like thee, a people saved by LORD, the shield of thy help, and the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall submit themselves to thee, and thou shall tread upon their high places.

But thou, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory and he who lifts up of my head.

My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.

Thou are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in thy word.

The night has advanced and the day has approached. Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the weapons of light. Let us therefore come near with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may take mercy, and may find grace for timely help.

Confess ye the trespasses to each other, and pray for each other so that ye may be healed. A working supplication of a righteous man is very powerful.
