Surely you will wear out, both you and this people who [are] with you, because the thing [is too] {difficult} for you. You are not able to do it alone.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts: '[Even] if it seems impossible {to the remnant} of this people in those days, should it also seem impossible {to me}?' {declares} Yahweh of hosts.
And [although] they said these [things], [only] with difficulty did they dissuade the crowds from offering sacrifice to them.
Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in calamities, in persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
Concerning this {we have much to say and it is difficult to explain}, since you have become sluggish in hearing.
