"He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down now from the cross, we will believe in him!
and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm and eat well," but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is it?
(Lamed) Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by on the road? Look and see! Is there any pain like mine? The Lord has afflicted me, he has inflicted it on me when he burned with anger.
The Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They brought him down to Gaza and bound him in bronze chains. He became a grinder in the prison.
