For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be a special people to Himself above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

And you shall be holy to Me. For I, Jehovah, am holy, and have severed you from the nations, so that you should be Mine.

And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. And Aaron was separated so that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons forever, to burn incense before Jehovah, to minister to Him, and to bless in His name forever.

They shall not make baldness on their head, nor shall they shave the corner of their beard, nor make any cutting in their flesh. They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God. For they offer the fire offerings of Jehovah, the bread of their God. Therefore they shall be holy. They shall not take a wife who is a whore, or defiled. And you shall put the holy garments on Aaron, and anoint him and sanctify him, so that he may minister to Me in the priest's office. And you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle, and all in it, and shall sanctify it and all the vessels of it. And it shall be holy. And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar. And it shall be a most holy altar. And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

And you shall offer every day a bull, a sin offering for atonement. And you shall cleanse the altar when you have made an atonement for it, and you shall anoint it to sanctify it. And you shall make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, The feasts of Jehovah, which you shall proclaim, holy convocations, even these are My appointed feasts. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work. It is a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He had rested from all His work which God created to make.

And he said to them, This is that which Jehovah has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath to Jehovah. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil. And that which remains over, lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up until the morning, as Moses said. And it did not stink, neither was there any worm in it. And Moses said, Eat that today. For today is a sabbath to Jehovah. Today you shall not find it in the field.

For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

These are the appointed feasts of Jehovah, holy convocations which you shall proclaim in their appointed seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month, between the evenings, is Jehovah's Passover, and on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to Jehovah. You must eat unleavened bread seven days.read more.
On the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor, but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor.

And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of Jehovah.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial summons, a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah.

And in the seventh month, on the first of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no laboring work. It is a day of blowing the trumpets to you.

And Ezra the priest brought the Law before the congregation, both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, Also, on the tenth of this seventh month, this is a day of atonement. It shall be a holy convocation to you. And you shall afflict your souls and offer a fire offering to Jehovah. And you shall do no work in that same day, for it is a day of atonement, in order to make an atonement for you before Jehovah your God.

And you shall have a holy convocation on the tenth of this seventh month. And you shall afflict your souls. You shall not do any work.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to Jehovah. On the first day shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor.read more.
Seven days you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you. And you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. It is a solemn assembly. And you shall do no work of labor.

And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no laboring work, and you shall keep a feast to Jehovah seven days.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses in Mount Sinai, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath to Jehovah. And you shall number seven sabbaths of years to you, seven times seven years. And the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be forty-nine years to you. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth of the seventh month; in the day of atonement, the trumpet shall sound throughout all your land. And you shall make the fiftieth year holy, one year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you, and you shall return each man to his possession, and you shall return each man to his family.read more.
That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. You shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather in it of your undressed vine. For it is the jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You shall eat the increase of it out of the field.

And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.read more.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down. Command the people, lest they break through to Jehovah to gaze, and many of them perish. And let the priests also, who come near to Jehovah, sanctify themselves, lest Jehovah break forth upon them. And Moses said to Jehovah, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai. For You commanded us, saying, Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.

And we heard this voice being borne from Heaven, being with Him in the holy mountain.

This shall be a burnt offering forever throughout your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before Jehovah, where I will meet you, to speak there to you. And there I will meet with the sons of Israel, and Israel shall be sanctified by My glory. And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar. I will also sanctify both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me in the priest's office.

And you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle, and all in it, and shall sanctify it and all the vessels of it. And it shall be holy.

And Jehovah said to him, I have heard your prayer and your cry which you have made before Me. I have made this house which you have built holy, to put My name there forever. And My eyes and My heart shall be there perpetually.

For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, so that My name may be there forever. And My eyes and My heart shall be there forever.

And it happened when the priests had come out of the Holy of Holies, the cloud filled the house of Jehovah. And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah. And Solomon said, Jehovah said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.read more.
I have surely built a house of loftiness for You, a settled place for You to abide in forever.

When the priests enter, then they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but they shall lay their clothes there by which they minister in them, for they are holy. And they shall put on other clothes, and shall approach that which is for the people.

And answering, Jesus said to them, Have you not read this, what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him; how he went into the house of God and took the showbread, and ate (and also gave to those who were with him) which it is not lawful to eat, except for the priests alone?

And Jehovah said to Moses, Take to yourself sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense, a part of each one. And you shall make it a perfume, an incense according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure and holy. And you shall beat some of it very small, and put it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.read more.
And the perfume which you shall make, you shall not make any for yourselves according to the way it is made. It shall be holy to you for Jehovah. Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, shall even be cut off from his people.

For it is most holy. And you shall eat in the holy place, because it is your due, and your sons' due, of the fire offerings of Jehovah made by fire. For so I am commanded.

And if it is an animal of which they bring an offering to Jehovah, all that one gives of such to Jehovah shall be holy.

And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah's. It is holy to Jehovah. And if a man will at all redeem anything of his tithes, he shall add to it the fifth part of it. And all the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, all that passes under the rod, a tenth shall be holy to Jehovahread more.
He shall not search whether it is good or bad, neither shall he change it. And if he changes it at all, then both it and the change of it shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.

Sanctify all the first-born to Me, whatever opens the womb among the sons of Israel, of man and of beast. It is Mine.

And when the days of her purification according to the Law of Moses were fulfilled, they brought Him to Jerusalem, to present Him to the Lord (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord)
