For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.

The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them. And He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these dead ones so that they may live. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow the body that is going to be, but a bare grain (perhaps of wheat or of some of the rest).

On that day the Sadducees came to Him, who say that there is no resurrection. And they asked Him,

For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

And certain of the Sadducees came, those speaking against a resurrection, that it was not to be. And they asked Him,

No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice,

And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all which He has given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes on Him should have everlasting life. And I will raise him up at the last day.

Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

And God gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to each of the seeds its own body. And certain philosophers from the Epicureans and from the Stoics met him. And some said, What will this babbler say? And others said, He seems to be an announcer of foreign demons (because he preached Jesus and the resurrection to them).

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless.

And answering Jesus said to them, Do you not err because of this, not knowing Scriptures, nor the power of God?

Why is it thought a thing incredible with you that God raises the dead?

So also the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;

it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

But if Christ is proclaimed, that He was raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

When Christ our Life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
