Judges 17:1-6

He returned them to his mother. She took two hundred of the pieces of silver and gave them to a metalworker. The metalworker made an idol, carving it from wood and covering it with the silver. It was placed in Micah's house. Micah had his own place of worship. He made some idols and an ephod, and appointed one of his sons as his priest. In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did whatever he or she wanted to do.

Judges 18:18

Ezekiel 21:21

The king of Babylon will stand where the roads branch off, at the fork in the road. Then he will look for omens. The king will stand at the branch of the roads where he will use divination. He will shake the arrows and ask the teraphim and look into the liver.

Deuteronomy 7:25-26

Burn the carved images of their gods with fire. Do not covet the silver or the gold that is on them. Do not take it for yourselves, or you will be snared by it. It is an abomination to Jehovah your God. Do not bring an abomination into your house. You must utterly detest it and you must utterly abhor it, for it is something banned.

Deuteronomy 5:8-10

For I Jehovah your God am a totally demanding zealous God. I require exclusive devotion and punish the fathers and children who hate me to the third and fourth generation. I show loving kindness to thousands of generations who love me and obey my commandments.

2 Kings 23:24

Genesis 35:2-4

Who shapes a god and casts a useless and good for nothing idol. He and his kind will be put to shame. Craftsmen are merely men. Let them all come together and take their stand for they will be brought down to terror and infamy.

Ezekiel 18:5-6

If a man is righteous and practices justice and righteousness, and does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, or defile his neighbor's wife or approach a woman during her menstrual period;

Zechariah 10:2

For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie. They have told false dreams! They comfort in vain. They go their way like sheep. They are afflicted because there is no shepherd.
